A massage adapted to pregnancy
During pregnancy the body changes quickly: the weight of the bump, a more arched back, heavy legs, restless nights. A gentle massage does not replace medical care, but it can help you relax and feel better in your body.
We recommend asking your doctor or midwife before booking, especially in the first trimester or if your pregnancy needs particular monitoring.
Why neutral argan oil?
Smell is often more sensitive during pregnancy. Neutral argan oil, with no added fragrance, nourishes the skin while staying gentle.
Tell us if certain scents bother you: the therapist can do without the essential oil diffuser.
Hammam and pregnancy
Heat and vigorous scrubs are not always recommended during pregnancy. Before booking a hammam at home, talk to your doctor; if in doubt, choose this gentle massage. More advice in our guide pregnancy massage during a trip to Marrakech.
What your therapist brings
- Professional folding massage table
- Massage oils and towels
- Essential oil diffuser and ambient music
Precautions
- Ask your doctor or midwife before the treatment, especially in the first trimester.
- No massage without medical approval in case of a high-risk pregnancy, bleeding, contractions, fever or sudden swelling of the legs.
- Tell your therapist if you feel unwell at any point: the treatment stops immediately.
- Stay well hydrated, especially on hot days in Marrakech.
If in doubt, ask your doctor before booking.
